Additionally, Lyn is a member of the Alumni Theater Company and has performed in several musical theater productions including Rent by Jonathan Larson, Aida by Elton John and most recently Hair. Lyn also performed in The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical by James Rado and Gerome Ragni in which he was featured as Hud, and American Idiot by Billy Joe Armstrong.

Lyn’s greatest passion is writing and producing music in the Hip Hop genre. He has released 2 original mixtapes and 1 EP to date. Rambling, released August 2013, was so named because the content reveals the jumbled mind state of Lyn Starr as he was developing as a young artist.  MAD, released August 2014, demonstrates Lyn Starr's raw mentality as well as how he has grown as an artist, from production quality to lyrical delivery. Inertia, released October 2015, was Lyn Starr's first EP with all original content and ideas, from beats to poetry.

Lyn is currently building a record label called High Five Productions, a company that strives to bring a strong, loving hip hop culture back into the world’s view.
