I liked to read comics and comic book collectors and comic book readers cannot coexist, so I had to find my own thing to collect.Hip hop fliers, posters, memorabilia, photos and magazines fulfilled my passion as a collector. [The Paradise Collection is] basically everything Hip hop that I could get my hands on during the past 40 years of my life. Hip hop is a sub culture of the Black Community as such I also photographed, documented and archived everyday life in the Black Community. ” says Gray on the collection.
